MU-NIC has adopted the Council of County Code Administrators’ best practices for the development, review and enforcement of policies dealing with the registration of .mu domain names and the operation of the Mauritian domain industry.

The registrants licence to use a domain requires that they comply with the applicable Acceptable User Policy (AUP), a failure to comply with the AUP or to remedy a breach of the AUP may result in a suspension of a domain and its removal from the zone.

Below is a list of MU-NIC’s current Published Policies, Guidance Notes, Administrative Arrangements, Dispute Resolution policies and our Privacy Policy. All Published Policies, Guidance Notes, Administrative Arrangements and Dispute Resolution policies are considered in their entirety as ‘Published Policies’.
